Staff Member of the Week

Staff member of this week is our one and only Lucy! She is the newest addition to the office and  I have no idea how we survived before she arrived. She adds a little creative touch to everything she does and makes everything nice and pretty. As always the staff member got some questions to answer, see what Lucy said about her life at The Dictionary and herself below.

Where are you from and why did you decide to come to London?
Oxfordshire, got sapped in somehow and can’t seem to leave.

Which part of the hostel do you work in?
Front of House, making sure the reception and everything with the face to face contact with the customers is as good as it possibly can be.

Best thing about life in the hostel?
The people.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A fairy, life would be so easy and fun.

Favourite way to spend a tenner?
Street food, you can get so much for a tenner.

Oh nooooo! You just found out you have 1 more year to live! Whats the top 3 on you bucketlist?
Go around the world, See my favourite people everyday, eat at all the top restaurants.

Must do while staying in East London?
Brick Lane (not very original I know) but definitely something you need to see!

If you were to create a drink, what would you put in it and what would it be called?
Positivity, I’d call it “not that bad”.

What song goes on repeat in you Ipod?
Daft punk

Favourite word in the dictionary and why?
Trello (the project management tool we use at the hostel, it makes everyone’s life so much easier)
