Blindfold Date – Concrete – 10^th February

Ditzy Ritzy is the host of the evening, bringing this 90’s classic into the 21^st century! Quick fire rounds will determine who your perfect match could be with ‘love-shacks’ set up to help you get in the mood. One lucky contestant will head to the stage to be blindfolded and have the chance to question three potential love interests! Saucy! There’s also a slow-dance session and plenty of dance offs to win over your love interest. Guaranteed to be a lorra lorra laughs!

Literally, what is cuter than kittens and cats? Nothing, that’s what! Which is why this place is a great date spot! Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium is the perfect place for a calming afternoon tea or even just a little visit to play with the cheeky little cats, of which there are 10! Booking is unfortunately full for Valentine’s weekend but the week before still has spots so ya better get booking for guaranteed kitty fun!

 

Shot Through The Heart – 3 Compasses – 13^th February

There ain’t nothing like a good sing-along to some power ballads fuelled by games and a few drinks! Head to Cupid’s postal service to send some love notes (or a cheeky drink) to your crush of the night and win prizes in Cupid’s bow and arrow game. Knit Aid ‘All You Knit Is Love: Mass Knit-In’ – The Book Club – 14th February

Spread the love far and wide with Knit Aid’s Mass Knit-In at The Book Club, creating blankets for refugee families in Europe who are facing a harsh winter. There’s hands-on help for both beginners and established knitters looking to learn or polish their skills. Alongside the workshop, there will be plenty of woolly goodies for sale, including limited edition Valentine’s Day cards, and much, much more! Tickets are £10 if you bring your own yarn and needles or £25 to be supplied with everything you need. 10% off all proceeds will be donated to aid organisations helping refugees across Europe.

 

Anti-Valentines Special with Arrows Of Love, Lead Sister & High Waisted Genes – Shacklewell Arms – 13th February

For those of you not really in the mood for lovey-dovey extravaganzas, then head down to the Shacklewell Arms for their Anti-Valentine’s Special. Arrows of Love will be headlining the night with their sharp punk rock providing the ultimate soundtrack to broken hearts across East London. Support comes from Lead Sister, playing their first ever show showcasing their dreamy and psychedelic punk sound. Definitely a night for the heart breakers and the heart broken.
