This explosive NYE party at Ministry of Sound celebrates the Defected label’s momentous year of events. With a huge line-up, headlined by Basement Jaxx, alongside acts, such as Sonny Fodera, Franky Rizardo and Simon Dunmore, head to Ministry of Sound to herald 2017 in true Defected fashion. The first releases have already sold out, so get in quick. Tickets are currently £72.80.

Bringing reggae, garage, hip-hop, house and disco to The Book Club in Shoreditch, Afro Disco takes you on a global excursion to sunnier climates, travelling the world in search of the funkiest rhythms and boogie-able beats. Expect Stone Heads and Tiki bars, set to an afro-disco soundtrack, headlined by Alexander Nut. ‘Early bird’ tickets have already sold out, so snap up existing tickets, selling for £15 each.

Head to the Queen of Hoxton for NYE with Just Juice. Expect a carnival of sights and sounds from the East London party crew as they transform the venue into a circus of delectable delights. With heavy base beats from DJ Champion and a Disco Set from DJ Die, enjoy over-the-top theatrics and a host of circus surprises. Tickets are selling out super-fast. Those remaining are currently £20 each. Just don’t forget your top hat!

Throwback are taking over Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen for a NYE party like no other. Inspired by the sights and sounds of 1970s New York, dust off your platforms, it’s time for disco fever. With boogie prince, The Reflex, in the DJ booth, the Studio 54 style venue is the place to strut your Old School stuff. Tickets are available for around £20 each or buffet and boogie for £40.

Flamboyant dress is positively encouraged and tickets are still available at £10 each.

Flawless nights are a sell-out at The Macbeth of Hoxton and this year’s NYE Beyoncé party is set to be the same. Open until 5am, with DJs spinning all your favourites from Destiny’s Child to Snoop Dogg, these events are roadblocks, so buy final release tickets in advance and ensure your entrance for a bootylicious £15.

Head to The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston for a Sabotage NYE tribute night. Pay homage to Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock with music from the Beastie Boys’ genre.
