So you’ve arrived at The Dictionary hostel what now? Lets check out East London … well the cool parts. Shoreditch, Dalston, Hoxton, Old street, Liverpool Street. Ok, how do we get there?

Honestly they’re all walking distances, but some may want to take London Transport. So here are the top 3 buses to take you around East London.

Big Reds back to back

The 243! This bus starts at Wood Green (North London) and Ends at Waterloo (Central London)…No-one cares. However it takes you through Dalston, to Old Street (station).

Dalston Is towards the north and is approx 10 minutes by bus, this area is buzzing with bars and underground parties esp. on the weekend.

Must be a good bus, if it’s going through Dalston

The 242! It starts at Homerton Hospital (East London) and Ends at Tottenham Court Road Station (Central London)… again No-one cares. This Bus takes you to Hackney Central Station, Dalston Junction, Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street.

Liverpool Street has some historic and contemporary architecture, famous pubs, and Markets with classic unmodified ally ways, home to many legendary stories *cough* Jack the Ripper.
