The Book Club occupies two spacious floors of a former Victorian warehouse on Shoreditch’s Leonard Street and for one night on Saturday 29th October, the venue will transform into a spooky celebration of the quirky British comedy, The Mighty Boosh. From an evil OAP to an urban crack fox with syringes for fingers, enjoy the company of some of your favourite characters from this cult comedy show. Head to the basement club for themed cocktails or enjoy Boosh-themed bingo on the ground floor. Whether you fancy drinking Baileys from a shoe in the company of Old Gregg or prefer a pint with the heinous Hitcher, The Book Club is the place to be this Halloween!

As part of the Museums at Night festival, from 27th to 29th October, you can enjoy a series of late-night, one-off Halloween events across the capital. Head to the Charles Dickens Museum on 28th for a ‘Dickens after Dark,’ Halloween special. Experience what it was like to be in a Victorian home by immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the dimly lit rooms. Buoyed by a candlelit bar, you can delve into the unseen mysteries of the future, courtesy of clairvoyants. Alternatively, the Vestry House Museum will be hosting an Alfred Hitchcock themed murder mystery evening on 29th. Solve the murder while enjoying music and delicious cakes and cocktails courtesy of local suppliers.

Originally a 19th-century charity school, this Museum allows an insight into the lives of destitute Victorian children.
