After meeting so many guests over the years, we’ve realised something… my word, you lot love to party! But with so many club nights to choose from, how do you know you’re guarenteed a good time? We’ve narrowed down our favourite places in East London to get your groove on.

The Book Club

The Get Down club nights on Fridays between 8pm to 2am feature DJs such as DJ Odin, DJ Sam Redmore, Mr Chex and resident DJ Jimmy Plates behind the decks for The Book Club’s weekly Block Party. There’s always a packed dance floor and if you can get in before 9pm it’s free, or only £5 after.

Take control of the soundtrack every Thursday as The Request Line DJs take your requests all night long! Inspired by the sounds and ethos of the 70s and 80s, you can dance away to all the classics. The best song choice on the night wins a free cocktail on the house! It’s free to get in and you can party from 9pm until 2am.

 

Cargo

For pure non-stop party vibes, Circus 83 club nights at Cargo are the place to be. Featuring RnB, hip hop, club and pop classics there is a choice of rooms starting from 4pm going right through until 3am. It’s free until 10pm but you can buy tickets in advance and save waiting at the door.

Cargo also presents Switched, one of the best club nights in Shoreditch with some of the most exciting resident DJ’s. If you want to dance all night long, then Switched is for you! Don’t be surprised when you’re swept up in the mood and bouncing around the dance floor until the first signs of daylight. The party starts at 10pm and goes on until 3am.

Mondays just got better! Every Monday at XOYO you can enjoy an eclectic mix of all things house, bass, Garage, old school hip hop and trap. Tape club nights have been designed to reshape Monday nights in one of London’s hottest underground venues. Tickets are £5 in advance, £6 on the door before 11pm or £7 after. Drinks won’t break the bank either at just £2.50!

Every Sunday, the Translate crew keep the party going through to the early hours of Monday morning with Deep Sundays. Translate Bar’s resident DJ spins the best in deep house and old school, partying hard from 9:30pm till 2am. With free entry, it’s probably the best party you will find on a Sunday night in Shoreditch. No rest for the wicked!

 

Dalston Superstore

The second and last Tuesdays of the month celebrates Disco Spritz and sees Capelas, Donna Leake, Chaka Khan’t and Ann Rollerskates present a generous weeknight helping of summertime disco, soul and funk oddities. With free entry, Disco Spritz is an effervescent and sparkling club night.

Every Wednesday sees Will Viper and Emma Rudge in the bar for White Leather Viper Club’s weekly Wednesday takeover. You can expect electronica, disco, mutant-pop, dancing and drinking along with regular guests in the house to help you get over any midweek blues. It’s a great night from 9pm until late and it’s free entry!

 

The Macbeth

The MacBeth’s weekly vintage Rock n’ Roll night, Cherry Cola, brings the best of retro rock n roll and indie to Shoreditch, from the Rolling Stones and the Kinks to The Strokes and the Libertines. With cheap drinks deals from 8pm – 1opm and the odd spot of live music, the night will surely get you rockin’ & rollin’.

 

Fabric

WetYourSelf! maintains a weekly Sunday night residency at esteemed London venue Fabric, fulfilling a real alternative to mainstream weekend clubbing. If you’re up for some unpretentious but serious music in East London, then get down to Fabric. Advance tickets are £7 or £12 on the door. If you’re a student get there before 12am for free entry or £7 for students after 12am. The party finishes at 5.30am just in time for breakfast!
