Truman’s East London brewery was established in 1666 and has had a proud tradition of brewing in the infamous Brick Lane Brewery. As one of the greatest names in British brewing and after 350 years in the business Truman’s closed in 1989. Today they are back, after re-establishing the business in 2010 and opening The Eyrie in 2013 they have returned and are back in the beer business.

Truman’s believe great beer should be complex, full of flavour and utterly delicious and all of their beers are brewed with 100% malted grain, using only the very best quality hops and no cheap adjuncts or fillers.

In addition to their regular brewery tours, you can also head down on the first Friday of every month for some beer, food, games and the occasional beat. It’s well worth a visit, they really can organise a p**s up in a brewery!
